The brief
A newly extended house in Arnold with a large open-plan kitchen, utility room and living room all needing a finish coat after the building work. The owners wanted a warm, neutral scheme throughout, with the woodwork in a clean white to set off the grey gloss kitchen and marble-effect floor.
We filled and sanded every surface, applied a mist coat to the new plaster, then two full coats of a soft cream emulsion to walls and ceilings. Skirting, architraves and doors were primed and finished in a durable white satin. The whole ground floor was completed in two weeks.
