Oak flooring and skirting in West Bridgford
The brief
A kitchen-diner with a glazed side return in West Bridgford. The old floor was a patchwork of tiles and boards at different levels, with a step between the kitchen and the dining area. The owners wanted one continuous engineered oak floor running from the kitchen through to the garden doors, with new white skirting to match.
We levelled the subfloor, fitted a moisture barrier and laid wide-plank engineered oak throughout, scribing around the units, radiator pipes and door thresholds. New skirting boards were fitted and painted, and the floor was finished and ready to walk on within the week.
