Floor painting for a storage facility in Nottingham
The brief
Several corridors of a self-storage facility in Nottingham, with bare steel floor plates scuffed by trolleys and foot traffic. The operator wanted a bright, hard-wearing finish that would clean easily and stand up to constant use, applied without closing the building.
We degreased and keyed the steel floor plates, masked the unit doors and checker-plate kick panels, and rolled two coats of a light grey two-pack epoxy floor paint corridor by corridor so the facility stayed open throughout. One week from first corridor to last.
